Work ITAS

If you want to work and obtain income in Indonesia, you must get a Work KITAS that allows foreign citizens to work officially in the country. Currently, you can get a Work KITAS for 6 months or 12 months.

A work permit is the sole legal document that allows foreigners to work and obtain income in the territory of Indonesia.

This is a multiple-entry Stay Permit, so you can leave the country and come back as many times as you need during the validity of your Work KITAS.

Requirements

Its requirements are quite strict. A work visa is issued for a specific position in a certain company, so obtaining a work permit before employment is impossible. Also, you are NOT allowed to work in several companies or in different positions at the same time.

Passport (minimum validity 18 months)
Reference letter for the last 5 years of work
Bachelor’s degree or a certificate of a specialist in the profession (in English)
Health Insurance
Color photo as for documents
Bank account statement with a minimum balance of $2000 for the last 3 months
Name of your position in the company (occupation)
Address in Bali
